This is the time of year when it feels really good to SHOP! People are feeling great about themselves, the holiday season is approaching and I find many are grateful for the blessings they have in their lives.
I know that I am!
Chloe and I are back to our Knot Tangled Bracelets for sale – $12 each or 2 for $20. We will be selling these at a variety of Craft Fairs around the lower mainland including the Creative Finds event this weekend in Surrey BC. There will be a lot of wonderful artisans and lovely handmade items. Come and check it out!
We will also be selling our new charms on the Ribbon Bracelets – $30 each and also on Chains too – $35 each. These are thoughtful Christmas gifts for your dancer or someone you want to inspire. Last year when we started selling, we were ‘fundraising’ for our trip to see Move Live on Tour. This year, Chloe is saving her profits for our Essence of Dance Trip to NYC. We also have these available in our Etsy Shop.
Some additional things that I am totally loving this year on Etsy:
From Plume Designs – Holiday Christmas Photo Card Ornament – LUX POP OUT – Be Merry. These are a little expensive, but if you aren’t mailing many Christmas cards, I think this is the perfect design to get made! It’s a keepsake and will be cherished by your friends and families for years to come.
Another very cool artisan I found on Etsy is called SlippinSouthern and I love his Christmas Tree Sign Retro Cut Your Own Christmas Trees Retro Holiday Decor.
How the Advent Calendar works: 25 gifts are randomly placed on the tree. Each day, starting on December 1st, a gift is removed from the tree and opened. You can use things like candy or money as a gift.
The advent tree is a wonderful springboard for the creative DIY mom or crafty family you may know. Each clothespin is capable of holding: an envelope, a little bag, gift cards, candy etc. One can do the same item for each or mix and match. It’s recommended that whatever small item does hang is numbered (either 1-25), and that these numbers aren’t put in order. Part of the fun of this calendar is that days aren’t arranged consecutively and there is a “search” feature as part of the experience.
What Finds or Craft markets are you going to this season? I hope to see you at some!
Oh and my last favourite for today – new Bootsocks for holiday from Grace and Lace! You know you NEED these!
