The company that I work for, Stella & Dot, has launched a wonderful Entrepreneur program for students interested in Social Selling and a career in Fashion. I only wish that there was something like this when I was a student because I would have rocked it. You can get over $700 in free jewelry – if you have nothing ventured, then you will have nothing gained! Spread the news to 18+ students that you know! www.stelladotintern.com
About Scarlett
Scarlett has a unique professional history including being an experienced Interior Designer, Stylist, Facilitator, and Business owner. After a successful corporate career, she has turned her knowledge from a variety of disciplines into a successful home-based business.
In 2007 Scarlett embarked upon a new venture as an entrepreneur. By mentoring with a talented team of artists, Scarlett learned the makeup trade and found she had a knack for hairstyling. She has grown an impressive portfolio and an ability to recognize and carry out each client’s individual needs. Working with brides, doing makeup for corporate headshots and providing makeup services at Langara College are just a few of the things that Scarlett does on a regular basis.
A chance meeting with a customer introduced her to the direct-sales company Stella & Dot. The product and business model intrigued her, and soon proved to be a perfect fit. Direct sales provided the freedom to work from home and she was able to fulfill her desire to be an entrepreneur, yet have a flexible work schedule with a consistent income. In 2012, her cumulative personal sales since she began exceed $200K.
Before becoming an business owner, Scarlett worked for Benjamin Moore as a colour expert and interior designer. She conducted seminars for both design professionals and consumers, and was featured as a guest expert on many TV shows across Canada, making regular appearances on CityTV’s CityLine and Breakfast Television. She is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and a Bachelor of Interior Design.
